1. Who we are

SimplePlay Pro for iPad is made by MSP Ventures Inc., 3015 SW 20th St., Miami, FL 33145, USA. Contact us at support@simpleplaypro.com. This policy covers the SimplePlay Pro app for iPad. It doesn't cover our other apps or this website, which have their own policies (see section 7).

2. What stays on your iPad

Videos, sounds and pictures you add are copied into the app's own storage on your iPad, along with your playlists, saved projects and thumbnails. The app also saves its settings there: the output resolution and picture size, your MIDI mappings, and the OSC and switcher settings you choose in Setup. None of this is uploaded or sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it.

Files you copy into the app's folder in Finder or the Files app are read only to add them to your playlist.

3. Network and Bluetooth features

These are all off until you switch them on in Setup. They connect directly to devices on your own network or nearby, carry show control only (such as GO, cue changes and tally), and never go through the internet or our servers.

• OSC remote control listens for commands from apps such as Bitfocus Companion or TouchOSC, or a show-control system, on your network, and announces itself on the local network so they can find it.
• Network MIDI connects to MIDI devices and Macs on your network.
• Bluetooth MIDI connects only to MIDI controllers you pair in Setup. iPadOS asks for Bluetooth permission the first time.
• Video switcher control connects to the Blackmagic ATEM switcher at the address you enter.

The first time you switch on OSC or switcher control, iPadOS asks for permission to use the local network. You can change that at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network.

4. What we don't do

• We don't collect personal information, usage data, diagnostics or device identifiers.
• The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics or third-party code that collects data.
• We don't track you across apps or websites, and we don't sell or share data, because we have none.

Display Diagnostics can copy a report about your display connection to the clipboard. It is sent to us only if you choose to paste it into an email.

5. Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
